Our country has desperately in need of Adult and Child Education. It is in the top of list of third world country because of its illiteracy rate, which is near about 39%. And in this 39 % those people are also who could only read and write their names..
Computer Centers
As we told in these contents about empowerment so NSP is also in action to spread a modern education or skill of Computer knowledge among Christians of Pakistan and especially of Youhanabad, Lahore. Near the head office of the NSP a state of the art computer center is being run by some IT professional of NSP.
Evangelism
Evangelism is at the heart of all we do. We believe that evangelism is the biblical model for growing the church through outreach meetings all over the Pakistan to teach word of God to grow in faith. Therefore, we train all Hub leaders and student pastors in evangelism. The Heart of Man chart is central to the method we teach, but we believe that all evangelism should happen through a love for the community that is to be reached.
Discipleship
All new believers should be mentored to grow up into the fullness of Christ . Jesus This process is called discipleship. It requires the intentional teaching of a new believer the basic principles of a life of faith. We believe that this process should be planned, intentional and monitored. Mature disciples are activated to disciple others.
Sewing Centers
Since 2014 has established “Sewing Centers” at rural areas for the Widows and Poor Christian girls. This is a welfare project to enhance the abilities of young women and to overcome their financial problem so that they could be able to support their families. These Sewing Centers starts their work by Worship session so this is not only a source of daily food and money for them but also for their spiritual growth These Sewing centers are also a source for the Education of Poor Children as well. Thus in the same building we are focusing on Religious and Formal Education as well as Sewing Centers. The Education to the Children is being provided free of cost. The significance of these Sewing Centers/Free School Education are as follows:
- The Building is being used on rent and supported by NSP
- Some teachers are offering their services voluntarily and some are being paid monthly
- More than 400 poor girls and widows are being trained in Sewing Center
- Emergency Relief
- Under this project NSP is also providing an emergency help to those people who sometimes have Utility Bills Payment problems or some people come with some medical matters i.e. delivery of a pregnant woman, surgery matters, costly medicines etc. These are urgent situations which can be solved a low income person or family so EGM is trying to accommodate such people.
